Take Charge Power LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates portable powerbank rental stations and the TakeCharge mobile application ("App") (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

• Contact Information: Phone number (required for SMS verification and rental notifications)
• Payment Information: Payment card details (processed securely by Stripe – we do not store full card numbers)
• Usage Data: Rental history, station usage, timestamps, and approximate location when using the App
• Device Information: Device identifiers, IP address, operating system, and app version
• Location Data: Approximate location when the App is open (for station finding)

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Provide and operate the Service (rentals, payments, returns)
• Send transactional SMS messages (verification codes, rental confirmations, return reminders, overdue notices)
• Process payments, deposits, and refunds
• Detect and prevent fraud
• Improve the Service and analyze usage
• Comply with legal obligations

3. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages via Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messages by replying STOP or contacting support.

4. Sharing Your Information
We share information only with trusted partners:
• Stripe: For payment processing
• Twilio: For SMS delivery
• Service providers: For hosting, analytics, and fraud prevention (under strict confidentiality)

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures (encryption, secure servers) to protect your data. However, no method is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
• Rental and payment data: 7 years (for tax/legal purposes)
• Phone number and usage data: Until you request deletion or account is inactive for 2 years

7. Your Rights (CCPA and other laws)
U.S. residents (including California) have rights to:
• Access, correct, or delete your data
• Opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising rights
